The fast-rising hiplife music group, Goldboys, after releasing two songs, “Mafe wo” and the latest one “s3 m3nya”, are already giving themselves some very fat slap on the back as they have started to claim that they are the best music group in the country at the moment.
According to Y.A, the singer and vocalist for Goldboys, unlike their group the other hiplife music groups in Ghana are only riding on their fame and past glory to still remain relevant in the industry and not because they are chunning out some good songs onto the Ghanaian music space.
“…for now, if not for hype and past glory, i may say we are the best group in Ghana now …” he stated.

In the interview with Kumasi FM’s Emmanuel Aggrey on his drive time show monitored by zionfelix.net, Y. A also added that many music groups in Ghana compose “whack” music and yet, they have the fame because of “past glory” and “hype” they have managed to earn.
