Ghanaian media personality, Gilbert Abeiku Aggrey Santana has eulogized bloggers in the country for their immense contributions.

Abeiku Santana, who was addressing a section of Ghanaian bloggers and his workers at an ‘End of Year Party’, said they are playing pivotal roles in disseminating information to the masses.

He argued that many bloggers are doing great and marvelous jobs more than the traditional media in Ghana.

The Okay FM presenter emphasized bloggers are more powerful than newspapers currently in the country.

“I must tell you that if you look at your insight and look at your reach, you are doing great, marvelous jobs more than the traditional media. You are more powerful than the newspapers. How many newspapers are able to circulate more than 500,000 copies in a day,” he queried.

“You can go and check from the printing houses, newspapers are not selling because we are in a new dispensation of fast information and you bloggers are doing a great job,” the multiple awarding-winning presenter added.

Abeiku Santana expressed his happiness about the establishment of Bloggers Association in Ghana which he believes will become a strong force for people to appreciate them.

He singled out Zion Felix and others for doing amazingly well.
