A controversial photo of dancehall artiste, Shatta Wale kneeling before the Inspector General of Police, Dr. George Akuffo Dampare has surfaced online.

The photo has been getting a lot of reactions on social media and generating controversy.

It all happened on Wednesday when the IGP met Ghanaian celebrities in Accra.

Shatta Wale had a confrontation with a police officer after he pulled out his phone during the meeting.

According to later reports, the meeting was a private meeting but Shatta Wale wasn’t present when the IGP warned against the use of electronic devices at the meeting.

After the altercation, the dancehall singer realised he was as fault. He came back to the meeting and knelt to apologise to the Police leadership for his mistake.
