Talented Ghanaian rapper, Freda Rhymz released a dope freestyle song titled “KMT” yesterday and in less than a few hours after its release, it had gone viral because it was alleged to be a reply diss to Sista Afia’s “WMT”.

After listening to the song a few times myself, I also came to the same conclusion taking into account some of her lines in the song.

Emotional singers turned rappers, who gave you mic to rap, High Life isn’t going well so are coming to swap, who dey drop a diss song then go online to cry, emotional singers … I’ve said what I said and it is what it is,” Freda said on “KMT”.

Now, anybody who analyzes these lines carefully and relates it to the whole drama that was witnessed in the media space after Sista Afia dropped her “WMT”, will break no sweat before he/she comes to the same conclusion as I did.

However, Freda Rhymz in an interview with 4stye TV‘s DJ Millzygh last night decided to toe the line of Sista Afia after the backlash and claim that it is not a diss song.

When DJ Millzygh pushed her and quoted some of the lines that are glaring shades for Sista Afia to her, Freda Rhymz still insisted that she was just throwing general shots.

It is sad but I must say, Freda Rhymz decided to be a coward here, just like Sista Afia did. And I believe they must be told that they either become bold and defend their actions or stop releasing such songs.
