Ghanaian actress, Yvonne Nelson has sent a deep message to the Running Mate of Ex-President John Mahama, Professor Jane Naana Opoku-Ayemang.

In a post sighted by Zionfelix.net, the popular and vocal actress advised Prof. Opoku-Agyemang not to be carried away like others do after they have won.

She was optimistic that women can deliver and serve their people right.

Yvonne added that Ghanaians are currently looking for leaders who will put the citizenry first.

She wrote on Twitter: “Prof, I love this…WOMEN can 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽 Deliver and serve your people right. We know its strategic, yeaa, we only need leaders who will put GHANAIANS first, do this and dont be carried away like they all do when they win. All the best 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽”

Yvonne Nelson’s statement comes after Professor Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang was announced as the Running Mate for NDC’s Presidential Candidate in the 2020 election, John Dramani Mahama.

“The @OfficialNDCGh, this afternoon, unanimously, endorsed my nomination of Professor Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang as my Running Mate for the December 2020 election. She is God-fearing, a distinguished scholar, a conscientious public servant & a role model,” Ex-President Mahama announced on Monday, July 6, 2020.
