Talented gospel artiste, Piesie Esther recently in an interview on Happy FM’s entertainment review show with Dr. Cann stated that there have been occasions when some of her colleagues in the gospel music fraternity have told event organizers point blank the people they want to have on the same stage.
However, Obaapaa Christy, one of the long-standing gospel musician in the country has disclosed that it is totally wrong for any of her colleagues to do that if it is actually true.
Speaking on the ‘Uncut’ show recently, the award-winning musician made the point that once they all find themselves in one gospel industry, they are all important and as such, she gives equal respect to everyone. She stated that it is quite absurd to tell event organizers the people they should have on their shows,
Obaapa stressed that the work of God is one that totally frowns on being selective for which reason she will not be selective, especially when she is fully aware that the people she might decide to state that she does not want on the same stage can equally do what she does or even do it better than her.
