Don’t fight over movie roles – Fred Amugi tells colleagues

Fred Nii Amugi, a renowned Ghanaian actor, has advised his fellow actors and actresses to refrain from fighting over movie roles as it ultimately hinders their performance.

In an exclusive interview with Movement Tv, Amugi stated that directors typically assign roles based on an actor’s ability to excel in them.

Therefore, clamoring for a change in a role only serves to expose their weaknesses.

Amugi emphasized that actors should focus on perfecting their craft and delivering their best performance in the assigned roles, as this would help them showcase their versatility and potentially lead to more opportunities in the future.

He further noted that healthy competition among actors is essential, but it should not turn into a toxic environment where actors undermine each other.

“It is better than roaming in a movie without doing anything relevant.  You do it, convince the director for the next movie or for a future role”,
