As today marks two (2) years following the demise of late Ghanaian musician, Ebony Reigns, her father, Nana Opoku Kwarteng and the deceased’s elder sister-Oforiwaa Opoku Kwarteng have visited her tomb at the Osu Cemetary.

They laid flowers at the tomb to remember the late musician.


The death of the late music icon which happened on February 8, 2018, sadly hit Ghanaians after a car crash on the Sunyani-Kumasi road.

Priscilla Opoku Kwarteng, who was popularly known as Ebony Reigns and two occupants of the vehicle they were travelling in, Franky Kuri and a military officer, Atsu Vondee couldn’t survive the accident.

The only survivor was the driver.

In a recent interview with Zion Felix, Nana Opoku Kwarteng said immortalizing the queen (Nana Hemaa Ebony) and keeping her legacy is important to him because of how special she was.

He disclosed that a memorial birthday party will be held in honour of the late Ebony every year on February 16 at his house in Dansoman, Accra.

The late Ebony’s father stated he is expecting about 300 people for this year’s memorial birthday party.
