It appears that the opposition National Democratic Congress is gradually becoming a political party a lot of young people in Ghana are falling in love with.

Popular Ghanaian music star, Denning Edem Hotor, popularly known as Edem is the latest youth to subtly reveal he wants to contest for the NDC as a parliamentary candidate.

Edem took to his social media platforms on Tuesday, March 21, 2023, to announce his decision to contest in the upcoming National Democratic Congress (NDC) primaries with the hope of becoming a Member of Parliament.

While many of his fans were taken by surprise by his announcement, they have equally congratulated him.

Currently, it is unclear the constituency Edem will be thinking of contesting in because he failed to mention it in the post.

However, he has promised to give more details on Wednesday, March 22, 2023. 

“BIG ANNOUNCEMENT TOMORROW 4PM #Gogetem #FullyActive,” he wrote on  Instagram.

So far, the likes of actor John Dumelo, movie producer, Fred Nuamah, and former CEO of 3Music Awards, Baba Sadiq Abu, are among those who have openly declared their intentions to contest in the upcoming NDC primaries.
