Derrick Manny, the entertainment pundit who decided to disrespect renowned Ghanaian musician, Edem, during a discussion on Sammy Flex TV, has finally come out to apologize.

Derrick Manny on Sammy Flex’s show asserted that the boss of VRMG had no business going to the awards event even though he was invited.

He went on to suggest that Edem just want to the event to waste time because there was no way any of the high-profiled European musicians who were at the event would collaborate with him now as against his colleagues, Stonebwoy and KiDi, who were also at the event via an invitation.

The above remarks just as expected infuriated Edem and many folks on social media, and they justifiably came hard at him for many such disingenuous remarks.

Following the unprecedented social media backlash, Derrick Manny went back to Sammy Flex’s platform to offer an unreserved apology to the ‘Toto’ hitmaker.

Derrick revealed that it has not been easy for him after he made those remarks.

Also, in his apology, he said that the meanings many folks read into his comments were not how he really wanted to communicate and added that he never meant to disrespect Edem in any way.
