Elder Francis Agyei yesterday won the most favorite gospel artist of the year at the national leadership awards organized by the Ghana state leadership awards.

He was also decorated with the national flag as part of his contribution to gospel music in Ghana and the world over decades.

The evergreen gospel music sensation, Elder Francis Agyei after a decade break from doing music, recently returned with a bigger bang, with his hit sing ‘Illona’.

The Pentecostal Praise and Worship leader has produced over 50 songs in English and several African dialects including ‘God you’re so good’, ‘Shake the devil off’ ‘Metwere obotan’ and ‘Akode biara’. His music career spans over two decades and he is indeed considered a legend on the African music scene.
