Veteran Ghanaian highlife musician, Amakye Dede has revealed what Ex-President Jerry John Rawlings did for musicians in the country.

He talked about the late former President’s contribution to the music industry during an interview on TV3’s ‘New Day’ program.

Amakye Dede indicated that the demise of Ex-President is a great loss to Ghana and the music industry.

“During his time, he tried his best to put the musicians into one family,” he revealed.

He also talked about how he loved his music and attended most of his concerts.

“I’m going to see what we can do to arrange the funeral,” the veteran musician stated.
