Rufftown Records artiste, Fantana is gearing up to dash free sanitary pads to young girls following her troubles at the just ended Reign Concert.

The project dubbed ‘Pad A Girl’ is a partnership between the ‘So What’ singer and Rotaract Club.

Rotaract Club Adentan together with the Rufftown/BlownGh artist Fantana will embark on a menstrual hygiene campaign at Balogono Basic School on Saturday, October 26, 2019, to sensitise students on the do’s and don’t’s of menstruation as well as donate pads to young girls, zionfelix.net has gathered.

“The campaign is to help girls who skip school during menstrual periods just to avoid embarrassment especially when they stain themselves with blood. This happens because they have no knowledge about sanitary towels whiles some of them also can’t afford it,” the officials Of Fantana who spoke to Zionfelix.net explained.

Fantana recently urged women to resist being discriminated against because of menstruation after she was trolled by a section of Ghanaian social media users when she accidentally showed her sanitary pad on stage.

“I hope some people will read wide and learn about menstrual health to stop the stereotype against young girls and women,” she said in a press statement following the incident.
