Young Ghanaian actress and singer, Yaa Jackson has denied stealing a song from Guru.

She admitted working with Guru on a project but something happened along the way in this interview with Zion Felix on the ‘Uncut Show’.

Yaa Jackson said she recorded the first track with Guru and on his absence, they tried working on a different beat but he was not enthused about it and called for a different thing.

She explained that she thought it wise to further work on the rejected song and release it in her name.

Following the release of the song ‘Me Kon ado’ which featured a budding musician-Spicer, Yaa Jackson claims Guru has not a uttered a word about it yet.

According to her, the song was conceived when the sound engineer, Liquid Beatz started to play a beat—and she flowed naturally.

When she was asked about why she featured Spicer on this song, Yaa Jackson simply answered that she saw something great in him.
