Song Music West Africa signed singer, Jackie Acheampong, popularly called Gyakie got the first share of social media backlash from fans earlier today after she said that her remix to ‘Forever, which features Nigeria’s Omar Lay is not for everyone but only those who can connect to it.

Many of her followers on Twitter did not take kindly to the tweet and as such, many of them were seen bashing her, even though others were also firmly behind her.

After taking all the backlash in good faith, Gyakie has decided to act maturely and apologize to all the fans who did not like her earlier tweet.

In her tweet to apologize, Gyakie wrote: “Hi good afternoon, I apologize deeply to anyone that felt offended by my earlier tweet. Mey3 very sorry. Let’s keep pushing Ghana music to the world.”
