Sis Abby has lamented the current state of the Ghanaian gospel music.

The gospel musician observed the current songs being churned out are weak and also not spiritually filled.

“Ghana gospel industry has sunk like titanic. All the songs being produced are about entertainment. People are not thinking about salvation and propagating messages that will revive all change others.

“These songs are full of entertainment and invaluable messages so you cannot even minister them at church. Nigerian songs are being sung at various churches because our songs are not up to perfection,” she said in audio obtained by zionfelix.net.

Sister Abby argued it will be difficult to tell the difference between secular musicians and gospel musicians.

She bemoaned how many Ghanaian gospel musicians have lost track of the Holy Spirit.

“Instead of them to pray for God to give them messages to deliver to His people, they are just joking. Backbiting and misunderstands are also taking the centre stage. Pray for renewal of anointing and good messages,” she stressed.

Sister Abby added that the eagerness of these gospel musicians to get hit songs are causing havoc in the industry.

She questioned whether Joyce Blessing is now a hip hop artiste because she is not seeing what she is doing now after she released a great gospel song some time ago.
