Ghanaian singer Jackie Acheampong popularly known as Jackie has set another record with her “Forever” hit song.
The song which was released last year has broken Ghana’s record on the Shazam app. “Forever” has now surpassed Sarkodie’s legendary “Adonai” song as the most shazamed Ghanaian song.

Shazam is an app that is used to identify new music. All users have to do is to open the app and let it listen to the song. The app will give you the title of the song and the name of the artiste and give you the opportunity to stream it.
Sarkodie’s Adonai which featured Castro used to hold the title. The song has been shazamed over 721,000 times.
Gyakie’s was quick considering the fact that Sarkodie’s Adonai was released some six years ago. The Forever song has been shazamed more than 724,000 times in just 8 months of it’s release.
