Ghanaian actor Abraham Kofi Davis, popularly known as Salinko, has expanded his interests far beyond acting, building a diverse portfolio of businesses that has contributed to his reduced presence in the Kumawood movie industry.
The veteran actor has recently attracted public attention not only for his business ventures but also for his generous charitable gestures, including reportedly gifting vehicles and offering financial support to some veteran entertainers.
While Salinko is often associated with his LINKO 1, LINKO 2 and LINKO 3 warehouses, available information indicates that his commercial activities extend beyond the distribution of milk powder and related products.
Salibeachi Enterprise and food business
One of the major businesses associated with Salinko is Salibeachi Enterprise, also referred to as Salibeachi Food and Beverages or Salibeachi Company Limited.
The company appears to be central to his activities in the food and beverage sector.
Salinko has previously confirmed that he is behind 27th Instant Chocolate Mix, a locally produced three-in-one chocolate beverage. A report by Max TV identified Salibeachi Company Limited as the contact company for distributors of the product.
Trade information compiled by Volza also lists Salibeachi Enterprise among Ghanaian businesses involved in the trade of cocoa powder and other food preparations.
The available trade records reportedly identify Cargill Ghana among the company’s suppliers, with several consignments recorded.
LINKO warehouses
Salinko is also reported to operate three powdered-food warehouses known as LINKO 1, LINKO 2 and LINKO 3.
The facilities reportedly handle products such as milk powder, cocoa powder and non-dairy creamer, supplying retailers and other businesses.
The scale of these operations highlights an aspect of Salinko’s career that is less visible to the public compared with his years on television and in Kumawood productions.
Linko Drinking Water
His business interests have also extended into the sachet-water industry.
Older promotional materials reportedly featured Salinko as the face of Linko Drinking Water, which was produced through Salibeachi Enterprise.
The actor later disclosed that the water business had at one point supplied thousands of bags every month. However, he reportedly suspended the operation after rising transportation costs made the business increasingly difficult to sustain.
Media and entertainment ventures
Beyond food and beverage, Salinko has maintained strong links with the entertainment industry through his own production businesses.
He owns ABDAVE Media Production, which has been associated with television productions including Bantama Kwasi Boakye.
He also operates Salinko TV, a digital entertainment platform through which his productions and other creative content are showcased.
These ventures have allowed the actor to remain involved in entertainment even as his appearances in Kumawood productions have reportedly declined.
