Ghanaian actor and comedian Kwaku Manu has come to the defence of his colleague Abraham Kofi Davis, popularly known as Salinko, amid growing public interest in the source of the Kumawood actor’s wealth.
Speaking during an interview with Dave Hammer, Kwaku Manu questioned why members of the public were so concerned about where Salinko obtained his money, arguing that such matters should not be a subject of public scrutiny.
According to him, those questioning Salinko’s finances would not be held responsible should anything go wrong in the future.
“Why do you want to know the source of his wealth? For what? If there’s any issue in the future, will you take the blame for him? It is none of your business,” Manu said.
His comments come at a time when Salinko’s business activities and recent acts of generosity have attracted considerable attention.
Kwaku Manu also strongly condemned claims attempting to link Salinko’s wealth to the death of his father.
He stated that he would defend Salinko whenever such allegations were raised, particularly in situations where his colleague was not present to respond for himself.
“As long as Salinko is not here and this topic is up, I will defend him. God will punish anyone who associates Salinko’s wealth with his father’s death,” he said.
Manu maintained that people should refrain from making sensitive allegations without evidence and instead appreciate the positive developments in Salinko’s life.
The actor and comedian urged the public to shift their attention away from speculation about Salinko’s finances and celebrate the positive things happening in his life.
Kwaku Manu’s comments come amid increased public interest in Salinko’s entrepreneurial activities and his financial capacity, particularly following reports of his charitable gestures towards fellow entertainers.
