Across the globe, all health officials have advised citizens to practice social distancing and take extra precautions to protect their health and that of loved ones against the COVID-19 pandemic.

Ghana is one of the many countries across the globe that has put down measures to help stop the spread of the corona virus amongst its citizens by introducing lockdown systems. It seems majority of these citizens haven’t welcomed this lockdown initiative in good faith by way of complaining about hunger and many other social problems.

In view of this ,many Ghanaian celebrities have taken it upon themselves to help donate some food items, Personal Protective Equipments (PPEs) and many other needed items to hospitals, prisons , orphanages, people on the street …etc to alleviate the financial burdens and stresses of a number of medical professionals and citizens.

Amongst these celebrities include sensational Ghanaian gospel songstress Patience Nyarko who disclosed in an interview with Nana Romeo on Saturday 18th April on Accra Fm that she’s been doing lots of donations behind cameras trying to go in accordance with the word of God in Matthew 6:1 which says ””Be careful not to practice your righteousness in front of others to be seen by them. If you do, you will have no reward from your Father in heaven.”

Patience Nyarko further revealed that she has no issues with those who are doing theirs publicly but she has decided to follow the word of God with hers.

In conclusion, Patience Nyarko pleaded with the government to put good measures down before considering a total lockdown owing to the fact that many Ghanaians are starving and going through hard times.
