Young musician, Kweku Darlington, sees himself as the best songwriter currently in Ghana.

He said no artiste of his generation comes close when compared—regarding songwriting.

The ‘Sika Aba Fie’ singer however feels he has not been appreciated by Ghanaians.

Darlington made this assertion in an interview with Pulse Ghana.

“I just feel Ghanaians are not appreciating me that much because currently, I can say I’m the best songwriter. Look at the young generation, I mean the young guys who are in right now. For me, honestly, nobody comes close when it comes to songwriting,” he said.

Kweku Darlington further stated: “Just look through the people around you. I’m just being honest. When it comes to writing lyrics, this isn’t bragging or something. When it comes to songwriting, I feel no one in the young generation comes close.”

Recently, he teamed up with Okyeame Kwame and Fameye on his song ‘Onipa’.
