Rising musician, Lasmid has opened up on the magic of composing ‘Friday Night’ happened.

He said in an interview with Nana Quasi- Wusu on Y 97.9 FM’s ‘Dryve of your Lyfe’ show that he did not intend to record the now trending song.

Originally, Lasmid divulged he wanted to record a birthday song, but he did not like how it sounded.

Interestingly, the young musician disclosed that he did not sit down to write ‘Friday Night’.

“It was my birthday and I was actually at home trying to record a birthday song, so I recorded and played the song but it didn’t sound well to me so I shunned working on it. I listen to the beats a day after again and for no reason, it sounded nice and the lyrics started coming. So, I did not sit down to write this song,” he stated.

Following its release, the song is doing well on streaming platforms.
