“I personally paid people to play and promote Lasmid’s ‘Running’ hit song” – Kaywa alleges

Kaywa, an esteemed Ghanaian music producer who’s also the CEO of Highly Spiritual Music label has alleged that he took a personal initiative to support the success of Lasmid’s hit song titled “Running.”

During an interview on Joy Prime’s ‘Prime Morning,’ Kaywa expressed that he had a strong commitment to elevating the young artist’s career within the music industry.

And as part of this dedication, he decided to financially invest by employing individuals to promote Lasmid’s music.

“We went ahead to drop a new song “Running”, and I took that song around, I was everywhere trying to push that song, paying to get people to play the song and I came back and said “Running” is out, it’s everywhere, let’s just sign and seal,” he said.

According to Kaywa, after discussions and a few back and forth concerning the signing of contract, they still agreed to release a video for the new song while they wait for the right witnesses to sign and seal the contract.

“He said ‘my father said I should wait, he wants to come so we sign the contract together and I said fine, your father wants to be your witness, let’s wait for that and see, back and forth, and his father didn’t make it, we shot a video, very expensive video.

“Now we were about to release the video and I said ‘mm tell him to just put a pen on the paper, let’s release the video, it will be awesome,”
