Ghanaian dancehall and afrobeats musician Akiyana has opened up on her experience living in Asia specifically China.

Akiyana made the revelations while speaking to Pulse Ghana on “Pulse Uncut”.

The Zylofon Music signed sensation said her life in China was a bitter-sweet one.

She revealed that China, the world’s most populous country is a beautiful place to live – the country is beautiful.

Aside the country being fun to live in, Akiyana said the country is full of racism. She said she applied for a teaching job and was qualified but they didn’t give her the job because they said her skin colour will scare the school kids.

Akiyana opined that the country which is adjudged the world’s fastest growing economy should make laws to favour people of colour.
