The first child of the late Ghanaian actor, Bishop Bernard Nyarko has narrated how his father sadly passed on.

Speaking in an interview Nana Yaw Sarfoh on Vision 1 FM’s ‘Ghana Beye Yie’ program which was monitored by Zionfelix.net, Gideon Kamkam Nyarko said he was at the Ridge Hospital where his father was pronounced dead.

He said it was very painful to see his beloved father departing from this earth.

Gideon recounted how his father always advises him with the least opportunity he would get.

According to him, his father’s last words to him were full of encouragement.

He stated that his late father was fighting to survive but it didn’t happen. “A warrior was not someone who always wins, but someone who always fight,” was what the late actor used as his DP during his fight to survive.

He also recalled how his father told him to be a man on his own and watch his back well when he is no longer there.

Gideon said sometimes he cries because of the words he would say to him at a time when he was losing it.
