One-time actor and radio presenter, Caleb Nii Boye has shared a sad experience he encountered during his acting days.

The host of Showbiz Live on Live91.9FM recounted how a producer gave him a bottle of Malta Guinness after spending three (3) days on a movie set.

According to him, this was after the producer bought two bottles of Malta Guinness for his friends and he asked him whether he would drink and he gave an affirmative answer.

Caleb also narrated how another producer, Stephen called him for shooting but after wasting much time at the location without shooting, he gave him Ghc 5 for transportation from Kasoa back to his destination.

Sharing more about his encounter with some uncaring producers, the radio presenter narrated leaving his house around 4:00 AM to be at a location which they were given an arrival time of 7:00 AM, he got to the place and the production manager and crew members were nowhere to be found. After sitting in front of a church meant for shooting before having access to the place, Caleb stated that he didn’t receive a penny from the work he did. He said the producer reported around noon and such experiences forced him to quit acting.

He commended Ghanaian filmmaker, Shirley Frimpong Manso for the professionalism she attaches to her work.

Caleb Nii Boye revealed she is the only producer who gave him a contract before being on a set to shoot.
