In a recent interview with Aba Dope on the Day Show with Berla Mundi on TV3, she revealed the struggle she went through during her time as an English teacher in China.
She explained that she went to China to further her education and managed to manoeuvre her way through the country as she did not know anyone there. She revealed that one of her hustling jobs in China was as an English teacher.
According to Aba, she was sacked from her first and second jobs as a teacher due to wrong pronunciations.
Thus, she went to YouTube and Google to learn the right way to pronounce and to improve her accent.
She then advised that we improve the quality of our pronunciation, as it doesn’t help Ghanaians when they travel outside the country.
