Popular Ghanaian actor, Van Vicker has lauded the Free Senior High School policy implemented by Nana Akufo-Addo’s government.

In a post sighted by Zionfelix.net, Van said the Free SHS has enabled many children to be in school.

Though he sees it as not a perfect system yet, the popular actor stated that it is incredible for Senior High School dropouts to be in school while fresh JHS students also have the opportunity to attend Senior High School for free.

Sharing his personal story, Van Vicker posited he would have enrolled at the university in 1996 if the free SHS program existed.

He recalled how his secondary school education depleted the savings of his mother.

While wishing the long stay of the Free Senior High School program, he maintained that his statement is not politically motivated.
