Popular entertainment critic and the manager of Ghanaian Raggae/Dancehall musician Shatta Wale, Bulldog has fired the board of the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMAs) real hard.

Bullgod fired them when he was reacting to viral reports that the board was considering to lift the indefinite ban they handed to Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy after their scuffle during the 2019 VGMA on UTV’s United Showbiz show on Saturday night.

The reports that the VGMA board was considering lifting the ban went rife after Robert Klah, Head of Public Events and PRO at Charterhouse told Andy Dosty on Hitz FM that a conversation on when to lift the ban ensued at the board’s inaugural meeting ahead of the 2021 edition of the awards.

“It was in principle decided that the ban should be lifted,” Robert Klah told Andy Dosty, host of the show.

Even though this somehow looks good for Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy, Bulldog does not feel the same.

According to Bulldog, the decision taken by the VGAMs is a complete nonsense.

He added that the board should have had a meeting with the management of both top-rated artists before even giving a hint of their decision to the media.
