On January 28, 2022, news broke that award-winning media personality, Jessica Opare Saforo, had resigned from her role at Citi TV and Citi FM.

The news broke many hearts and received a lot of reactions online because many netizens and lovers of Jessica were obviously not ready for it.

Some people began to wonder why she quit the ready station abruptly while others also created their own opinions as to why she ended her over a decade stint with the media outfit.

Well, after remaining silent on the whole issue for one year, Jessica has finally served notice that she is ready to reveal why she resigned. 

In a teaser shared on her IG page, she was seen shedding tears as she disclosed that she did not really leave under favorable circumstances.

“There were rumours swelling all over the place. Things being said on my behalf that I had no idea about. I left Citi because…,” she said.

She has indicated that the full video will be available on her YouTube channel at Mid Day on Saturday, January 28, 2023, thr exact date she resigned last year.

Before she resigned, Jessica hosted a number of shows including Citi Drive, Brunch in The Citi, The Traffic Avenue and Sister Sister.
