The winner of TV3’s Mentor Four, Michael Kesse Frimpong popularly called Kesse, is expressing a lot of regrets for deciding to accept Christ some four years ago to become a born-again Christian.

In an interview Kesse granted Graphic Showbiz, the musician disclosed that he has not been receiving calls to play his Christian songs following his repentance.

He said: “Becoming a born-again Christian hasn’t been easy, particularly since my secular engagements have stopped. Sometimes I want to return to the world, but a pledge to God prevents me… I’ve accepted that being a child of God won’t be all roses.”

He went further to add: “Every sincere believer has problems, but there’s always a way out,” the artist remarked to motivate himself. You won’t suffer forever…The beginning may be rough, but the conclusion counts, and I don’t regret knowing God…Nope. I had to ditch pals who would get me into trouble so I could concentrate on God’s job.”
