King Promise and Black Sherif will ‘cook’ something for their fans soon.

The ‘Selfish’ singer teased his collaboration with Sherif in a recent interview.

He gave the hint after revealing that they have not worked together before.

“We haven’t worked together but we have a connection, sometimes not because we are friends we should force the song, I like it to be very natural. Like I Knew Sark for four years before we made a song, same thing with R2Bees, I knew Wizkid a long time before we did a song,” he told Berla Mundi on TV3’s ‘New Day’ show.

“I can’t reveal a lot of things but we plan on working soon, big smash, of course, it’s coming.”

Reacting to the assertions that Black Sherif’s album should have won the VGMA 2023 Album of the Year, King said: “But I think when it comes to things like this even the times that I have been nominated that I didn’t win, there were so many people who thought I deserved it and should have won but it doesn’t mean whoever won did not deserve it and I respect it.”

The Ghanaian musician further revealed his love for Sherif and his album.

“And I heard him speak about it. Big ups to Blacko. His album is one of my favourites as well. I love Blacko.”
