On Tuesday, March 24, 2023, popular Kumasi-based actor, YouTuber, and social media sensation, Ebenezer Akwasi Antwi, well-known as Dr. Likee, was officially unveiled as the brand ambassador for raid-hailing service, SHAXI in Kumasi.
As SHAXI ambassador, Dr. Likee from what we gathered is to promote the ride in Kumasi and other areas in the Ashanti region.
At the unveiling, the award-winning actor received a brand new SHAXI car from the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of SHAXI, Shatta Wale.
Dr. Likee in his acceptance speech at the time also said he was thankful to the Almighty God for blessing him, and thanked Shatta Wale for the recognition.
After being named a brand ambassador, a lot of people were of the opinion that he took some huge sum of money before he accepted to pick up this role, however, in a recent interview with Zionfelix, Dr. Likee disclosed that he did not take a penny.
According to him, SHAXI is a family business because the owners of the company are his brothers, and hilariously asked the interviewer to carefully look at his face for some resemblance with Shatta and Medikal.
He added that he agreed to come on board wholeheartedly and work to make the company very popular in the country without taking any money because he feels it will help his brothers become wealthier.
Dr. Likee ended by stating that he rather feels honored by the owners of the company for deeming him fit as a brand ambassador and gifting him a car as well.
