Award-winning Ghanaian gospel musician, Kofi Sarpong has yet again been promoted to a new rank in the Ghana Police Service.
The musician prior to joining the music business as a side business some years ago had as his stage name, DSP Kofi Sarpong because at the time he was a Deputy Superintendent of Police.
Along the line, he got a promotion and he became a Superintendent of Police and automatically his stage name as a musician changed as well to become SP Kofi Sarpong.
With the news of his new promotion coming in this morning, the ‘Ayeyi Ndowm‘ hitmaker will have to change his stage name once again to measure his new rank with the Ghana Police Service.
He is now an Assistant Commission of Police so henceforth he will definitely be referred to as, ACP Kofi Sarpong.
Announcing the news to the world via a post on Facebook, he wrote: ‘The God we serve never fails us, He makes all things beautiful ,thank u God for this promotion and new journey in my life I AM ACP KOFI SARPONG stay safe for Ghana.’
