Kumawood actor T.J

Kumawood actor Tijani Suleman professionally known as T.J has said most Kumawood stars we have enjoyed are not rich as the public sees them.

The fast-rising actor speaking to Nana Amoako on Ashh FM in Kumasi disclosed that most of the veteran actors in the local movie industry have turned beggars. According to him, the majority of them earned nothing during their heydays so could not have enough to save.

T.J added that majority of the veterans beg before they get something to eat. To him, it is rare to hear pensioners of other professions soliciting for money from their colleagues or the public. He further advised his colleagues to take a clue from how their pacesetters are suffering in order not to fall suffer same way when they are old.

T.J’s comment comes after actor Paa George cried for help when Gloria Osei Sarfo donated to him during her birthday celebration in April.

Actor T.J is best remembered for movies like Pinamang, Se Emmere Ne Soa, Odo Bi Ye Owuo, Smart Boy and many others.

Renowned actor Kwaku Manu on Celebrity Ride With Zionfelix show weeks back also opined that most Ghanaians actors are broke and hungry so T.J’s comments did not come as a surprise to many who listened to him on Ashh FM.
