Award-winning singer, Sista Afia is not happy with some Ghanaian music lovers and tweeps who have been attacking top musicians for failing to win a single award at the just-ended 63rd Grammy Awards.

The anger of most Ghanaian music lovers is borne out of the fact that Nigerian Afrobeats stars Burna Boy and Wizkid have both won awards at the 2021 Grammys — Burna Boy won the Best Global Music Album category while Wizkid won the Best Music Video for his song with Beyoncé; Brown Skin Girl, from Lion King: The Gift album.

A frustrated Sista Afia further stated that it appears Ghana has been cursed by its first president, Kwame Nkrumah with the spirit of hatred and not supporting one another which is why there is so much hate in the country.

She warned her followers who were disturbing her with the Grammy awards to stay clear of any of her posts because none of their relatives have either won a Grammy themselves or even traveled abroad.
