Ghanaian artiste manager, George Britton, has cited a lack of professionalism in the music industry.
He told DJ Sly on Sunyani-based Ark FM that there are few professional artiste managers in Ghana.
The GB Interactive CEO stated that a lack of professionalism affects the entire music ecosystem.
George made this statement when he was asked about some of the factors that hinder the growth of the music industry in Ghana.
The talent manager said there should be a plan before any artiste manager begins to work with an artiste.
He recalled the plan outlined before working with Camidoh in 2020.
Apart from his goal to conquer Africa, making the artiste prominent in Ghana and selling his songs to the populace, was also part of the plan.
George Britton further mentioned how background checks on artiste will help artistes managers and their team.
Without the skill and capabilities to manage an artiste, the popular artiste manager said people will fail if they even have money to invest in the music industry.
