The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Lifeline Records, Yoofi Boham is highly disappointed after his artiste’s song was credited to another artiste.

During the signing and unveiling a new artiste, Ohenewaa onto Lifeline Records which was covered by Zionfelix.net, Mr Boham revealed how renowned Ghanaian credited Abochi’s ‘Bestie’ song to Kofi Mole.

According to him, the Hitz FM presenter was interviewing a Liberian artiste and he disclosed how the ‘Bestie’ song was trending in the country.

When the Liberian artiste couldn’t mention the name of the musician who composed the song, Mr Yoofi Boham said Andy named Kofi Mole as the artiste instead of Abochi.

He indicated that some people later corrected him on that but for someone like Andy Dosty to make such an error is unforgivable.

The Lifeline Records CEO further bemoaned over how a section of the Ghanaian media feels reluctant in helping musicians in the country.

He said it is not the best for DJs and presenters to play songs of musicians and refuse to mention their names or talk about them.

Mr Boham emphasized on the need for the people in the Ghanaian music industry to fix themselves before others accept them.
