Ghanaian actor, Majid Michel has disclosed why he has for sometime now been conspicuously silent when it comes to acting, something he is very great at doing in an interview with Joy News’ Doreen Avio.
The actor has attributed his consistent absence from the Ghanaian TV screens in recent times to his new found love, which is the propagating of the word of God in churches, at events, and to friends and loved ones across Africa.
“…just a little construction going on but I will be back because my passion for preaching [Gospel] is taking over me a little but we are putting together some scripts,” he said.

Majid however cleared the air concerning reports that he had quit acting due to his newfound passion for God in the interview with JoyNews’ Doreen Avio. He stated that he is still active in the movie industry and is currently working on some movie scripts.
“…I haven’t stopped acting, I tell people that acting or the movie industry has been my ministry that is where God has called me to be, so I can’t let go of it…” he said.
