As part of the celebrations of Miss Ghana60Years On and ahead of the official launch of the pageant, Exclusive Events Ghana Ltd, organizers of Miss Ghana pageant, recently paid several courtesy calls on members of the Diplomatic Corp.

The objective of the visit was to strengthen the relationship with these countries and solicit further involvement of the diplomatic community in the socio-economic development of our country, Ghana – particularly through tourism, arts and culture.

The delegation was warmly welcomed and they in turn briefed their hosts on the Corporate Social Responsibility activities of the Miss Ghana Foundation as well as the Miss Ghana 60 Years On/Miss Ghana 2017/Diamond Jubilee celebrations.

Afua Asieduwaa Akrofi and Archibald Acquaye, Miss Ghana and Mr Ghana Ambassadors respectively, were part of the delegation that visited the various embassies.

Notable among the visits were those to the Embassy of United States of America, Hungarian Embassy, Embassy of People’s Republic of China, Embassy of the Republic of Germany and Indian High Commission.

The rest were the British High Commission and the Columbian Embassy, amongst others.

The official launch for this year’s Miss Ghana, dubbed Miss Ghana 60YearsOn is scheduled for August 2, 2017 at the Kempinski Gold Coast Hotel in Accra.
