Enterprising Ghanaian highlife musician, Raphael Essien, otherwise known as Anamon, has threatened to sue Kuami Eugene.

Anamon claimed in an interview with Rainbow Radio that the Lynx Entertainment artiste stole some parts of his ‘Ashawo’ song—which was released in 2012 for his ‘Open Gate’ song.

He indicated that ‘wele, sebe and kontomire’ section of Kuami’s song has been registered by him.

Anamon, who was not happy about the development stressed that he will take legal action if he doesn’t see any positive move from Kuami Eugene and his handlers.

“If he is respectful, he would have called and asked permission from me before using the words. I spent several amounts of money on the song. I registered the words and the terms at the Copyright office,” he stated.

Kuami Eugene has been fingered in multiple songs or lyrics theft following his emergence in the music scene.
