The Chief Executive Officer of Zylofon Media Nana Appiah Mensah affectionately known as NAM 1 has waded into conversations over Ghana’s bad luck in winning awards globally.

The businessman of Menzgold fame was reacting to a tweet from one of his former record label signees Stonebwoy.

Stonebwoy tweeted congratulating Nigerians for their constant efforts in projecting Africa on the global scale. Ending his tweet, Stonebwoy shaded the Ghana music industry for their lack of support for artistes.

His tweet has since degenerated into a dhiebacle with everyone trying to take a bite out of it.

Joining the conversation is NAM 1 who seemed not surprised about Ghana’s misfortunes.

To him, a country where creativity and innovation are stifled by its politicians shouldn’t be expecting any recognition on the global scale.

He wrote: “Where awkwardness is upheld by an irony of the sick driven in a cab & the dead conveyed in an ambulance.🤣Where the throat of vision, creativity & innovation are cruelly slashed on the altar of partisan politics. What results do u expect my guy?😌#GhanaShallProsper🇬🇭”
