The overlord of Anglo Togbui Sri III has commended President Akuffo Addo for his commitment to ensuring that citizens’ right to health are guaranteed through an established health sector with sustainable ability to deliver affordable, equitable and easily accessible health.
Togbui Sri III expressed this gratitude when the Minister for Health Kwaku Agyeman-Manu paid a curtsy call on him during his tour to the Volta Region to familiarize himself with the institutions and facilities as a way of motivating the people within the health sector.
He stated that, “Angloga and its environs are very huge that we need more than two hospitals here. It’s very unfortunate we don’t even have one. What we have here is health centre which can’t cater for the people here and I know for sure Nana Addo’s government is a listening government and I have all the confidence in the government more especially the Minister for Health that he will give a hearing ear to our cry”.
The Minister for Health Kwaku Agyeman-Manu affirmed government’s support to provide adequate health facilities to the people of Anglo. “Quality healthcare delivery is very critical to national development, therefore I want assured Togbui Sri III that President Nana Addo will surely deliver all promises he made to the good people of Volta Region” the minister added.
