Netizens have recently been buzzing with curiosity over Ghanaian musician Abdul Aziz Sadat, better known as Bahdest Shakes, and his remarkable streak of international performances.

The discussion has gained momentum following his return from two high-profile concerts organized by Sleeky Promotions in the UK.

The first of these events, the Ghana Independence Day Bash held at Brickhouse on March 9, 2024, featured Bahdest Shakes alongside other Ghanaian artists such as Stay Jay and Nii Funny.

The second, Efya Live in Concert on March 16, 2024, showcased Bahdest Shakes alongside the sensational Ghanaian songstress Efya.

Prior to these UK shows, Bahdest Shakes had also graced another Sleeky Promotions concert in Gambia on November 25, 2023, where he shared the stage with VGMA 2023 Artist of the Year, Black Sherif.

In all these successes being chalked by the the singer and rapper, what baffles many observers is the fact that Bahdest Shakes doesn’t currently boast any major hit songs in his repertoire.

Even though he has songs like “Movement” that features Ayesem, “360” that features Kwesi Flex Music and a few others, many people still think his story in quite interesting because he continues to secure coveted spots on international stages.

During a recent radio interview, when pressed about his remarkable success, Bahdest Shakes credited his manager, Sadik Assah, the CEO of Sleeky Promotions, for his remarkable international exposure.

He expressed gratitude towards Sleeky, as he acknowledged his pivotal role in opening doors and creating opportunities for him in the international music scene.
