I Am Not A Mainstream Artist Yet – Kelvynboy

Kevin Brown, popularly known as Kelvynboy, has been doing active music for some time now with an appreciable number of hit songs to his credit but unlike others, the Burniton music signee has decided to put the brakes on trumpeting his achievements so far.

According to him, tagging himself as a mainstream musician now will be more or less a hyperbole. Speaking on the Uncut’ show he intimated that being tagged and described as a mainstream musician in the fierce Ghana music industry is something that does not come easy and as such his belief that there are few things he has to do to attain that status.

Asked the point-blank question about what he thinks will make him accept the tag as a mainstream artist by Zionfelix the host of the show, the ‘Na You’ hitmaker revealed that when the time comes, he needs not to tell because people will know. He also suggested that his about to be released EP dubbed ‘Time’ is totally in connection with the explosion his music career is set to see.

Kelvynboy also used the ‘Uncut’ platform to correct the misconception out there that purports that he might never be a mainstream artiste unless he breaks away from Stonebwoy and his Burniton music. He states vehemently that it was totally false because if it is time for him to become mainstream, nothing can stop it.
