Ghanaian gospel artist Patience Nyarko’s hit song titled ‘Obi Nyani Me’ is number one on the Musicians Union of Ghana top ten most played songs on radio for the month of May.

‘Obi Nyani Me’ featuring Brother Sammy was played on radio one thousand and ten times (1010), followed by CCTV by King Promise featuring Mugeez and Sarkodie which recorded seven hundred and forty-eight radio plays for the month of May (25 to 31).

Other popular songs which also enjoyed maximum airplay were ‘Obiaa Wo Ne Master by Pono Biom featuring Stonebwoy (511), Akwaaba – Guilty Beatz featuring Mr. Eazi, Pappy Kojo and Patapaa (465), KiDi’s ‘Adiepena’ (461), Gringo by Shatta Wale (429), ‘Odo’ by KiDi (327), ‘Mensuro’ by Uncle Ato (320), MzVee’s ‘Come and See My Moda’ featuring Yemi Aladi (275) and Confusion by Kuami Eugene (265).

The compiled list is done in collaboration with Ghana Music Chart, an official and radio air-play chart and powered by Qisimah.

The gospel artiste’s song is undoubtedly the most played gospel song in the country.
