In a recent episode of “On A More Serious Note Show” aired on Joy Prime TV, Ghanaian rapper Phrimpong made headlines for his unexpected outburst, which culminated in him walking off the set.

The incident, which has since garnered significant media attention and alot of reactions on social media has prompted Phrimpong to issue a formal apology to Joy Prime TV, the Multimedia Group, and their viewers.

During the live broadcast, Phrimpong became visibly agitated when one of the panelists on the show, Xerda used the phrase “wo nana” to wit your grandmother on him.

Feeling disrespected, Phrimpong’s frustration boiled over as h poured the drink he was holding on Xerda before he abruptly left the show.

Amid all the backlash online, Phrimpong has released a statement to address the incident.

In the statement, he expressed his deep regret and extended an unqualified apology to Joy Prime TV and the Multimedia Group. He acknowledged that his behavior was unprofessional and disrespectful, causing inconvenience and discomfort to the show’s panel, hosts, and viewers.

“I am writing to extend my sincerest apologies for my behavior during the recent episode of ‘On A More Serious Note Show’ on Joy Prime TV. My actions were unprofessional and disrespectful, and I deeply regret any inconvenience and discomfort caused to the panel, the show’s hosts, and the viewers,” Phrimpong stated in his apology.

Phrimpong further emphasized his gratitude towards Joy Prime TV and the Multimedia Group for their ongoing support throughout his career. He admitted that his conduct not only reflected poorly on himself but also disrespected the trust and support extended to him by the media entities.

“Joy Prime TV and the Multimedia Group have been invaluable in supporting my career over the years, and I am profoundly grateful for the platform you have provided me. I understand that my conduct not only reflected poorly on myself but also disrespected the trust and support you have extended to me,” he added.

The rapper took full responsibility for his actions and assured his commitment to preventing such incidents in the future.
