The most talked about campus event of the year, African Union Hall popularly known as Pentagon Hostel’s hall week artiste night came off this Saturday, March 3.

The show organised by the University of Ghana‘s hostel in collaboration with 4Syte TV’s campus tour hosted several artistes including Zylofon Media rapper, Obibini Boafo, Kelvinbwoy, Nigerian dancehall artiste, Dammy Crane, B4Bonah, Kwesi Arthur, Medikal, La Meme Gang, Pappy Kojo and the main artiste, R2Bees.

But an unfortunate incident happened during the performance of the headline act, R2Bees, while they were midway through their performance. After Omar Sterling, half of the duo had dazzled fans with hit songs from his solo project, he was joined on stage by the man with one of the silkiest voices in Ghana, Mugeez, the other half of the group.

The sound, unfortunately, went off after they had performed some hit songs including Walaahi, Slow Down, Makoma, Bayla Trap few others around 10:45 pm, 15 minutes to end the show. This left thousands of fans who went to witness the group’s performance angry and disappointed.

Zionfelix.net also monitored that there were some misunderstandings on stage after organizers found it difficult to sack people from the stage while R2bees’ performance was ongoing and we believe that played a role in the power problem.
