Actor and comedian Funny Face has been granted bail in the amount of GH¢120,000 by a District Court in Kasoa.

This development follows an unfortunate incident where Funny Face was involved in an accident in Kakraba, Kasoa, resulting in injuries to five individuals, including a mother and her two children.

The court proceedings, which took place on Tuesday, April 9, 2024, shed light on the severity of the situation, with the prosecution providing updates on the health of the victims.

While four of the victims have been discharged from the hospital, one remains in a critical condition, albeit showing signs of improvement.

Funny Face’s involvement in the accident led to charges of drunk driving and careless driving, culminating in his two-week detention in police custody prior to being granted bail.

Following his bail, the talented comedian granted renowned media personality, Kofi Adomah, his first interview after his release from police custody.

In the interview sighted by zionfelix.net, Funny Face spoke with a tone of remorse, expressing deep regret for the pain and suffering caused by his actions.

He admitted that he alone bears responsibility for his predicament, acknowledging that his choices have led to dire consequences for innocent individuals and their families.

Also, contrary to earlier speculations that he was drunk when the accident happened, Funny Face revealed that the accident occurred as he attempted to evade a motor rider who abruptly crossed his path.

He also expressed empathy towards the affected families and apologized earnestly to the children he inadvertently harmed and their parents, acknowledging the anguish and trauma they must endure.

The “Cow And Chicken” show creator also implored Ghanaians to forgiven him and grant him another chance to redeem himself.ana
