More information about the elderly man, who is reported to have died this evening at the Ridge Hospital has surfaced online.

The latest update zionfelix.net has sighted on the myjoyonline reveals that the elderly man who sadly passed away because of the coronavirus disease is actually related to a popular Ghanaian musician.

Even though the report did not mention the name of this musician, it adds that he was the one who rushed him to the hospital yesterday, March 26, 2020, but unfortunately, he failed to give medical officers at the hospital full details of his dad’s travel history before he took ill.

Currently, the authorities of the hospitals suspect that some health workers who might not have known of his infection earlier have been exposed, and as such, they have started taking all the necessary precautionary measures.

Also, hospital authorities are preparing to disinfect the emergency center and wait for National COVID-19 Response Team to take the necessary steps before getting the body moved.

Zionfelix.net can also state that this news has been confirmed by the Ghana Health Service now in its latest update about the pandemic in Ghana on its website.

This means that Ghana has so far recorded 138 COVID-19 cases, 4 deaths with two recoveries (one new recovery this evening).
